We took Mikayla to her first pumpkin patch! I'd heard about a place called Carpinitos Brother's in Kent - I was happy to find one close by, it seems like all the patches are out in the boonies. We met Jeremy's mom, sister and her boyfriend there. It was a beautiful day, sunny and cool - I don't think we were the only ones who thought it'd be a nice day to go to the pumpkin patch because it was SO crowded. It was a cute little pumpkin patch though! There were lots of pumpkins and other veggies for sale, a corn maze, hayrides, and the whole place smelled like kettle corn and roasted corn on the cob. We took lots of pics of course.
Here's Jeremy and his mom putting on Mikayla's shoes. She hates shoes and wiggles out of them every chance she gets, but mommy made an emergency trip to Fred Meyers to buy these shoes to complete her little outfit, so darn it she's wearin' em! ;)

This is what happens when Grandma Barbara decides to sit you in a pile of squash. Please be advised no babies were hurt during the taking of this picture, but one was royally pissed off during the process:
