Christmas with my side of the family was postponed because of all the snow, so we all got together on New Years day to celebrate. Mikayla looked pretty darn cute in her little outfit:

Mikayla has become quite fascinated with animals. She LOVES our cats at home, she gets giddy and flaps her arms around whenever they're near. My sister has two puppies and she couldn't take her eyes off them. I think in this shot she was a little worried that Bailey was pondering having her for lunch though:
Her Uncle Irvin had to reassure her that everything would be okay. This is a pretty momentous shot though because Irvin is usually terrified of babies, so the fact that he got that close to Mikayla is pretty amazing:
Mikayla got to spend time with her cousin Evan. Believe it or not, Evan is actually 3 months older than Mikayla. They're pretty much the same size - ha!
I think Mikayla is a little more used to posing for the camera than Evan is - notice his deer in headlights look (no pun intended).
