Caitlyn's birthday party!

We went to Caitlyn's birthday party recently (she's the daughter of Jeremy's good friend). It was a BBQ and pool party on a roasting hot day. The temperatures last week were ridiculous! It got up to almost 100 degress. IN SEATTLE. We were all miserable including Mikayla - we spent a lot of time at the mall, at the store, anyplace that had air conditioning which is few and far between in this area!

Here are Mikayla and Jeremy, taking refuge in the shade of a tree: Fascinated by a napkin. It doesn't take much to entertain this kid: You can see just how hot and miserable our poor baby is - we were all melting! :(Trying to cool off in the kiddie pool. Even that didn't do much since it was out in the sun: We tried having her float in the big pool, but she wasn't having it: All she wanted was her Daddy!I think the feeling was mutual... :)
