Mikayla's birthday is coming up, and we wanted to get her hair trimmed before the big day. It was pretty uneven in the back from when she'd sleep mainly on one side as a newborn. We took her to the salon Jeremy and I have been going to for awhile. Here she is right before the haircut, looking suspicious:
The owner, Thi, let Mikayla pick which color comb she'd use (she went with pink, of course):
Thi had Jeremy wear a smock and hold Mikayla, to keep her from wiggling and so she wouldn't get scared:
We tried to distract her with all the gadgets and gizmos around the salon:
For the most part she sat really well for it:
But started to get bored after awhile:

All done, and checking herself out in the mirror:
The back is all cleaned up and looks so cute on her:
