Today we took Mikayla down to Spanaway to see my parents. Having grown up without ever knowing any of my grandparents (they were all either estranged or had passed away) it's really important to me for Mikayla to spend time with her grandparents as much as possible. Since my parents are total home bodies we decided it would work best to bring her down there. They were smitten by the baby as soon as we got there of course, especially my mom which surprised me. She's not exactly the most touchy feely type, but man was she lovin' on her granddaughter! She bottle fed her, held her and fussed over her the whole time we were there:
My dad was really cute, you could tell he was a little nervous about holding the baby and poor guy, he kept getting her just as she was getting fussy for some reason or another. Finally when we got her changed and fed he got to hold her when she was relaxed - she fell asleep in his arms and held onto one of his fingers with hers. I love this pic: 
We all had a good time and I hope to make it a regular trip - Mikayla got to see her grandparents and we scored all kinds of good Korean food from my mom to take home. Everybody won! :)
