Walkin' on sunshine!

Mikayla isn't mobile yet, but it's not for lack of trying! The other day I set her down for some tummy time and instead of flopping with her tummy flat on the floor she was perched on her hands and knees and stayed there for quite awhile. Long enough for me to grab the camera to take a pic:


I half expected her to start crawling then and there. But the thing she really loves is standing up like a big girl. Of course we have to hold onto her hands to help her balance, but man does she love standing! She giggles and shrieks with delight, and looks SO proud of herself!

She's just starting to paw at the ground a bit and test out if she can take a step or not. She's changing so much every day, it's amazing to see. We're just waiting for the moment she decides she's got places to be and starts crawling/walking/dancing on her merry way...
